ganga pollution
ganga, india’s lifeline, begins at gomukh and flows to the bay of bengal, believed to originate from mahadev’s ‘jata’ to purify the mortal realm. while its pious waters are revered for washing away sins, they are ironically polluted. at our pandal entrance, this is symbolized through installations showing ganga’s sanctity and the pollution it endures. inside, religious structures along ganga’s banks and the Art of the aarti of 10 devtas, who armed maa durga, are depicted. through these symbolic references, visitors are urged to minimize ganga pollution.
