- our puja pandal for this year resonates, through its design and sound effect, the disastrous consequences of reckless & unplanned construction work in the hilly & mountainous areas which have gravely endangered nature itself. in today’s world blasting a dynamite for promoting construction activity is like a dime a dozen idea, extremely common & widely practiced activity, to make room for mushrooming constructions, notwithstanding the environmental ill effects that are an inevitable fallout of such mindless blasting. metaphorically speaking, if the hills and mountains were able to give vent to their feelings, we might have heard their continuous wails of pain and distress.
do join us all in praying to ma durga, the daughter of the himalayas, that she may bring sanity to our thoughts, and prevent us from inflicting such indiscriminate and irreparable damage to our serene, divine and pristine hilly landscapes.
