the golden history of bengal’s weaving Art once shone in the vibrant jamdani fabrics of kishoreganj, adorning nawabs and royalty. colonial rule darkened these weaving houses, halting exports and bringing decline. yet, under goddess durga’s blessing, the weavers have reclaimed their lost glory. with renewed strength and faith, they rise again, inspired by the life-giving mantra of the goddess—the flight.
