- devi durga is the source of all power. centres around her are lakshmi, saraswati, kartick and ganesh. all along the pandal there exists gods and goddesses. the making of this puja is with the asans – the cloth-made seat material for worship. the women of bengal, with the help of cotton thread and n iddle make these asans that unknowingly become their artwork. durga puja this year is with these artistic embroidery and niddleworks.
